What styles and types of music do the Landsharks play?

[The Landsharks have a HUGE songlist and play almost all styles of music, at all types of events and venues. the musicians are some of the finest musicians in the world. Many events that The Landsharks play are "Beach-themed" events, but The Landsharks also play many NON-BEACH themed events. Although the Landsharks play a Jimmy Buffett Tribute show, and also a Beach Boys Tribute Show, the band can also play many. many other musical styles, types of music, and many different artist's songs. ]

[Yes, The Landsharks often play events where the client prefers that the Landsharks provide "background music, or just provide an "ambience" or "atmosphere" for the guests. ]

[The wardrobe of the band will depend upon the type of event and also your preferences. The Landsharks have a variety of styles that they can wear to each different event ]

Where are the Landsharks located ?

[The Landsharks travel and play everywhere! Although there is only one Landsharks Band(Trademarked and Copyrighted), The Landsharks are based in three places and often play in all three......Florida, California, and New York, and all over the world. The Landsharks have COMPLETE SOUND AND LIGHTING equipment (with all instruments) in all three places (Florida, NY, and California), and often plays in all three places, and the surrounding areas. ]

Who is the Bandleader, Owner, and manager of The Landsharks Band?

[Gary Roland is the sole owner and manager of The Landsharks, He is also the Bandleader and all communications, directions, questions, payments, etc. should be made directly to Gary Roland. Gary is owner of Beach Entertainment and Talent Agency, and is a a licensed, bonded Talent Agent!

[The Landsharks are primarily a four-piece band. But additional pieces can be added. The core 4-piece Landsharks has opened up for Jimmy Buffett, The Beach Boys, played at The Super Bowl Pre-Game show, and much more. The 4 piece band includes a guitarist, a bass player, a drummer, and a keyboard player. This 4 piece configuration is more than enough for any event, but more excellent musicians can also be added, including a Saxophonist, a Steel drummer, a Beach Boys Vocal Specialist, a trumpet player, a trombonist, a Harmonica Player, a conga player/percussionist, an accordion player, a pedal steel player, a violinist/Fiddle Player, a marimba player, and a vibraphone player, a Ukulele player, a Rythum Guitarist, a 2nd Keyboardist/Synthesizer player, and more! ]

How long will the bands breaks be?

[ The band breaks will depend upon what type of event, how long the band is playing, and your preferences. The Landsharks are always committed to making an event be as successful as possible. The exact breaks will be outlined in the Price quote. ]

Can the Landsharks play at my wedding ?

[Absolutely! The Landsharks have performed at hundreds of weddings at some of the finest establishments in the world, including Disney, The Palm Beach Breakers, The Ritz Carlton(s), and many other major venues. ]

Do I need to provide sound, lighting, and staging at my event or can The Landsharks provide sound, lighting, and staging equipment?

[The Landsharks can provide sound and lighting equipment for most events, except HUGE, major concerts. You would have to supply electricity and an area for the band to play (A stage (or stage area) would have to be provide for the band) ]

Will The band be loud?

[No, the band is made up of some of the finest musicians, who do not need to play loud to be good. But please do not worry, .... If you do believe that the band is loud at your event, please inform the band leader immediately. If you ask and the band is still to loud, then please ask again. You will never get an attitude about sound volume from the Landsharks. Often, the Landsharks do play concerts that do require large equipment and loud volumes, but not at many events. The Landsharks specialize in getting it "just right." ]

How large of an area does the band need to set up their equipment?

[ At Large concerts and events, The Landsharks prefer as large as stage as possible, but the band realizes that a large stage might not be practical at some events.

The Smallest set up possible: The 4-piece Landsharks Band could set up in your livingroom, in the corner if they had to (they have), but it would be very, very tight. ]
